Thanks to the booming cellphone (free) market, the Inquisitive Blogger can now access three cellphone networks even in his grandma’s village of Gonja Maore. Just besides (or is it within?) the village school there are huge cellphone towers! Interestingly, the school noticeboard has something to say about what it means to be ‘corporate social responsible’for schoolchildren! This is particularly telling now in the wake of the National Environment Management Council’s (NEMC) call for suspension of ongoing construction of telecommunication towers which lack in-depth research on health risks they pose to people and the environment”!
