Dame on a Dime
I don’t care about making a name
Nor adding a dime
Let alone being a prime
What matters is going home
I ain’t playing any game
Or chasing any fame
Even when getting any blame
What matters is coming home
I can’t keep feeling the shame
Yet go on doing
the same
While breaking the frame
What matters is moving home
I won’t be thinking of this pome
And keep sinking in this crime
Of acting like this mime
What matters is settling home
