There I stand on my pulpit,
Platform
Socially distanced
Raised high above the masses
Exhaling my virus over their heads Exhorting them to come close
So I can direct them to stand apart
As the virus flows!
Unimpeded From one to another
I am truly socially distanced
On my pulpit
Platform
I am not with them
But above them
Which is why I can never understand That my distanced directives
May not affect me
They may promote my mental well being Self satisfaction at a directive delivered Even if
Even if
It threatens
The physical well being of my captive Audience
