I literally have no words on corona! All I know is that it has caught everyone’s attention. The corona virus makes me feel like Maddy, a character in the movie Everything, Everything played by Amandla Stenberg. More specifically, “The Maddy before the coming of Olly”.
Anyway, corona has its merits and demerits, but of course mostly demerits, specifically death. The advantage that it is giving us is a break from work, school, and any stress-inducing events. This may sound ignorant, but I’m a student, so try to understand. My fellow students and I were so happy to hear about the break that we were not even bothered about the dangerous risks outside the school gates. Excuse my ignorance, but I believe corona is the one thing that was able to bring people together, especially families.
I believe the world has never been more united. I also believe that corona is something that’s passing by. As human beings, we have been through a lot such as slavery, World Wars, and other pandemic diseases. We were able to solve those problems. We ended slavery, World War 1 and 2 and we are trying our level best to avoid World War 3. But we are humans so something is bound to happen, meaning it is not guaranteed, so NO PROMISES.
We just have to believe that corona is something passing by. I take this as a challenge, it’s just that corona is a very strong opponent, but with the right materials, it’s not impossible. We have religion, science, and technology, let us use them wisely! Despite the break and unity, corona has not made it easy to live freely! Most of our basic needs such as food is scarce. We used to call it “world hunger”, specifically for those who couldn’t afford food due to poverty or financial challenges. But now we call it “world hunger” for virtually everyone, even those who can afford food.
Corona is stressing parents out because they want to do everything so they can protect their children, I’m not joking, my mom makes us drink this really sour medicine water, which consists of lemons, ginger, and honey. It’s disgustingly sour, but she says it’s good for us, so I don’t want to stress her. I just drink it and go to bed with the most bitter taste in my mouth and a smile on my face.
She also makes wash our hands 24/7…. It’s a daily routine glued on every door in the house. Anyone who comes to our house must wash their hands for 10 minutes and must get sprayed. It’s hilarious but we must do it. My mom makes sure she sprays everyone without missing a spot, it’s the funniest thing I have ever seen. But it is also forbidden to have guests over, so we only get to witness the comedic scene once or twice a month.
My mother does all she can to protect us and we appreciate her. Coronavirus is a very serious issue and I don’t know how it happened, but I do hope it ends soon so we can all go outside and breathe the fresh air. I do miss going outside and meeting my friends. Let’s all try to look for the silver lining in this situation and we might soon find a solution!
😂😂I have no explanation
